The Cribs

Fans of the conceptual artist Jenny Holzer will be pleased to learn she has a major retrospective on the horizon at The Baltic.

Holzer became famous in the 80's for her use of slogans, such Choose Life! or Kill yr idols! Her work has featured on the sides of buildings, on posters and on giant LED billboards.

Her most recent work parodied the redacted expenses accounts Parliament published for MP's, with big black marks painted on canvasses. The exhibition features sculptures, paintings and those giant billboards and is part of the AV10 Festival taking place across the region.

The exhibition runs from Friday 5th March to Sunday 16th May.
