Kerry has spent her time of late on a project called One Minute. One Minute s a serious of one minute films on a variety of subjects, which are shown on giant screens in cities throughout Britain and Europe.

Kerry is currently working on volume 3, with volume 2 appearing on a screen in Queen Victoria Square, Hull from 9th September to 31st October this year.

Check out Kerry’s website, and a sample of her work, at www.kerrybaldry.moonfruit.com

Comedians: at the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens
The Winter Gardens is currently staging a wonderful exhibition called Comedians. You may not be surprised to find out that it features fabulous photographs of famous comedians from the 1940’s to the present day, including such luminaries as Les Dawson, French & Saunders and Tommy Cooper.

As you enter the gallery there is an introductory video featuring Paul Merton, which parodies the talking head parts you see in those awful ‘100 greatest moments’ programmes. There is also a booth in the corner where you can watch excerpts of North East comedians in action.

The exhibition runs until 21 June 2009 and entrance is free.

Its musical efforts over the past three decades have garnered praise and accolades within the recording industry, but also solidified its identity as a cultural force to be reckoned with.
